Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters! Yeah its that great time of the year when people dress up and play make believe. Its also the only time of the year when we generally want to be scared a little. Of course Halloween was originally a pagan holiday called Samhain. It traces its roots back to the Emerald Isles. Many people have varying opinions on Halloween. Many Christians feel that this day should not be celebrated because it has influences of dark occult practices. Others just see it as a day to dress up and get drunk. Whatever way you view it you can't deny the fact that its a great time to see wacky costumes and the effort that people have put into them. If any of you reading this live in NYC and can make it to Queens.I believe that there is still a Magic show that takes place in the Cemetery were Houdini was buried. For those who are burnt out on Halloween this year like I am. Don't be a kill joy and try to put an effort to make it fun for those around you. Finally remember to watch the Walking Dead on AMC its a great show based on a great comic. You will enjoy it. Have a good Halloween everybody see you in November.
This blog will deal with a variety of things that come to my mind some may be personal or deal with issues that may be controversial.I don't expect everyone to agree with me and that's fine. Will see where this blog is headed as time goes by.

Who or What I am doesn't matter. In the end I have to pay the piper!
There is a previous post of mine which discusses the path you take in life and how if affects those around you. I would like to expand on that. Basically we are taught that a person is either good or evil. Some like me try to walk a gray area. There are other alternatives that are available. In the game Dungeons and Dragons one creates a character with a certain alignment and from there immerses themselves in a game in which each action not only affects them but the other players as well. One option in life that we rarely consider is being lawful or chaotic.
Someone who is lawful tries to upheld themselves to the rules and regulations that have been set in place. A chaotic person on the other hand does anything that pleases them no matter the consequence. Take a look at a peacekeeper they try to protect us from harm but sometimes they become corrupt. If you have ever seen the movie Training Day the character played by Denzel Washington is basically chaotic and will kill if need be. Still he upholds some of the laws he has been sworn to protect in his own demented manner. In contrast look at the way Batman operates. He upholds the peace and justice in a different manner. He sometimes crosses the line just enough that it gets results. Killing is not an option for him. The lines are always blurred and sometimes we make that hard choice of what we choose to follow.
Whatever path you choose; remember that sometimes our past actions make us into who we are but we can still strive to be better. If your interested in seeing what type of alignment you are visit this site and take the test. Apparently my alignment falls under true neutral which fits my goals. Even the darkest or brightest soul always has a chance of redemption though sometimes were scared to pay the price. Really listen to the words of the video below there intense.

Hey buddy am walking here!
That big day has finally arrived; you turned 16 and can now get a driver’s permit. Let’s say within 6 months must teens pass the exam and are off on the road. Skip a decade into the future and they have become like almost every other driver in the city. I don’t know why but must drivers in NYC are just freaking insane. One of the first things you learn is that pedestrians have the right of way. That is a big misconception that can get one killed if there not careful. When a driver is talking on a cell phone or even worse texting you’re better off walking the other way.
I rarely drive and when I do I try to follow the damn rules but it’s hard not because I don’t want to, but I have to be aware that the jackass behind me is in a rush somewhere. Hearing the honking of a horn is aggravating. No matter what you do it’s not going to make someone cross the intersection quicker or make traffic move. I will say that yes sometimes pedestrians jay walk when they shouldn’t. By my count I think I witnessed over 20 people just barely make it to the other side. While this probably doesn’t cause injuries I would add that blasting music with the car windows down is annoying especially at night as your trying to sleep.
What can be done about bad drivers nothing unfortunately. If a driver gets into an accident he or she claims that it was the other driver. If they have road rage they claim that the other person cut them off and tax dollars are wasted and they either get a light sentence and are back to driving pretty quickly. If I was in charge and you screwed up badly while driving. Cut off a leg for good measure and lets see you drive now buddy. Enjoy the weekend folks.
