The social divide that exists will never cease to be because as a society we reinforce this norm . People argue that reason the rich are so powerful is because of the money they throw around that allows them to maintain a hierarchy. That may be so but originally certain powerful individuals had to work hard to get to where they are. There heirs of course expanded the fortunes that were originally made. Some of the rich do contribute their fortunes to charitable causes. Not every person with money is so charitable and some just covet power that leads for them to make laws that help them while it makes life harder for the rest of us.
Any individual who is not born with a golden rattle will have an uphill battle through out their life. No matter what path they choose it is only through hard work that you get to be someone. I am not saying every person but some have chosen to not work hard and relay on government handouts or sometimes procure wealth in less than reputable manners. I can't pass judgment since am not qualified to do so but do suggest that those who blame the rich must also look at their own actions and determine if their not just using the wealthy as scapegoats. What do we do to break down this societal norm? Honestly I have no answer all I can say is that by investing in education and health care can we hope to bridge some of the gaps that are present.
This blog will deal with a variety of things that come to my mind some may be personal or deal with issues that may be controversial.I don't expect everyone to agree with me and that's fine. Will see where this blog is headed as time goes by.

Flip a coin what choice will you make?
Take a look around you and you will notice that everything you are and have is a result of a certain path that you have committed yourself too. Some in life have chosen to walk a righteous path while others have a darkness that surrounds them as they live their life. Should we judge people by a certain criteria that is supposed to be the right way? No we shouldn't as long as they don't cause any harm to anyone. Choices we make in life are not easy and sometimes we need a push to move along.
A small push in one direction can have consequences that we never expected. A decision that was made a long time ago could lead one to meet the most incredible person they have ever known. Unfortunately fate is a fickle mistress and the memories and a promise that was made are all that remain of better days. Sorrow and anger of not being able to have been there and some how have prevented the events of that day blind some but eventually they accept it and move on. There are of course a few who go down a different path and choose to bury what they once were. Days move on and become months and eventually years. In all that time they kept a promise they made while they project a face of what people expect them to be. Eventually though they wake up and decide that its time to slowly emerge and show their true self.
Deceptions and illusions have been their friend for so long that it's hard to put down the masks and truly be who they are. People notice the cracks in the masks and some of the changes they see taking place are seen as positive while others cause confusion which leads to fear A few don't understand that some masks were worn for their benefits because they needed you to be someone they could turn to. Unfortunately they still fail to realize that they have grown in that time you have known them and you're proud of who they have become. In time the final mask will fall and a brand new person will emerge will they still hold the same ideals and dreams, since they have already chosen to break a promise made long ago. Only time will tell.
